The softstone vessels assemblage from the Long Collective Grave 1 (LCG‐1) at Dibbā al‐Bayah (Sultanate of Oman): A preliminary assessment

Abstract The present contribution aims to provide an overview of the large collection soft stone vessels and lids coming from collective tomb Long Collective Grave 1 in Dibbā al‐Bayah funerary complex, along with a brief description evaluation itself. corpus material here discussed has been recovered during 2012 season, it mainly encompasses chronological span between second first millennium BC. findings are classified organised tables according their phase, successively on basis morphology decorative patterns which major focus is addressed. Given outstanding manufacturing materials, finely incised even plastic decorations, state preservation, assessment such remarkable corpus, although partial, contributes significantly study diffusion production South‐East Arabia.
